The South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) Silakbo Student Publication was hailed as Champion in the CineMatutum 2026 Documentary Film Making Competition, held as part of the Amyak Maleh celebration at KCC Cinema, Koronadal City, on March 18.

The documentary showcases the benefits of civet coffee, particularly in supporting the income of local communities.
Moreover, the film emphasizes the importance of conserving the rich biodiversity of Mt. Matutum for the benefit of present and future generations. It also underscores the value of cultural awareness and ecoliteracy in promoting environmental conservation.
The team behind the winning documentary includes Heart Anoba (Director), Ceasar Ian Jade Abarollo (Editor), Earnest John Arnaez (Cinematography), Jonard Biboso (Sound), John Lloyd Ellena (Narrator), and Charlon Bullos, LPT (Adviser), with support from Rusty Ehimplar and John Kenneth M. Orrica.
