The Launching Program
For the first time in its 20-year history, the South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT), through the Information and Communication Technology Management Office, formally opened the Through the Lens Gallery, highlighting the institution’s history, people, milestones, and future directions, at the Administrative Building last February 4.
The program included the opening remarks by Mr. Cedie Gabriel, ICT Coordinator, followed by the gallery overview presented by Mr. Charlon Bullos, Content Writer, and a video presentation prepared by Mr. Rusty Ehimplar.
In his message, Engr. Clar Don L. Evanglio, MEqEng, Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized that the gallery marks the beginning of gathering various versions of SEAIT’s history toward creating a comprehensive institutional narrative.
The program then proceeded with the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Engr. Milagros S. Tamayo, MIM, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, followed by the opening of the gallery for general viewing, which is open daily until February 9.
