Powered by innovation and service beyond expectations, the South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) participated in the 2025 Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Assembly held on December 10 at the Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City.
One of the highlights of the event was the launching of the POWeR Hub – Personalized Online Wellness Resource Hub—an interactive and user-friendly platform that brings together various wellness components. Through the hub, employees can participate in health quizzes to test their knowledge of wellness and healthy practices, as well as access and review detailed health event documentation in real time to stay updated on current and past wellness activities.
Another innovation introduced was the Integrated Score and Result Monitoring System, a fast, accurate, and user-friendly platform that modernizes event management. This all-in-one tool automatically counts scores and determines game results, ensuring fairness and accuracy in competition outcomes.
These projects received a plaque of recognition, accepted by the student researchers Abiera, Antonio T.; Ambatang, Jc Brylle M.; Fabular, Patrick G.; Madrazo, Cyber Jade M.; Jalando-on, Nathaniel C.; and Cabigting, Ferdinand L., together with Mr. Reginald S. Prudente, College Dean, and Ms. Mitch Azaira M. Lictawa, Project Adviser.
Meanwhile, SEAIT also received a plaque of recognition from the DTI, presented by Flora D. Politud-Cabunales, CESO V, Regional Director, and Hazel E. Hautea, Chief Administrative Officer, in acknowledgment of its invaluable contribution as a partner institution.
The recognition affirms SEAIT’s continued commitment to fostering innovation and producing research-driven solutions that uplift workplace wellness and enhance institutional events.
