Aiming to equip participants with essential skills in accurate evidence documentation and validation, the South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) conducted the two-day Digital Forensic Photography and ACE-V Training, with CPD Accreditation No. PTR2025-755, featuring Mr. Jury G. Rocamora, RCrim, as speaker at Dream Weavers Hotel in Koronadal City on January 24–25.
The two-day activity highlighted participants’ exploration of key topics, including “The Principles and Techniques of Digital Forensic Photography,” whch emphasizes accurate and ethical documentation of crime scenes and evidence using digital imaging to ensure court-admissible photographs; “The ACE-V Method in Forensic Evidence Analysis,” where participants learned the systematic approach for examining and validating forensic evidence; and “Drug Enforcement,” which discussed essential investigative practices and legal considerations in law enforcement operations against illegal drug activities.
Moreover, Mr. Rocamora reminded the participants to invest in their minds by pursuing a deeper understanding of the topics discussed. He encouraged them to embrace digital technology as an essential tool in modern criminal investigation.
Meanwhile, Engr. Milagros S. Tamayo, MIM, also graced the event, expressing gratitude to all participants for attending and encouraging them to join upcoming seminars organized by the school.
The event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the seminar committee, led by Ms. Eravic R. Apolonio, Program Head of the College of Criminal Justice Education, and Mr. Hernie B. Deduro, CPD Focal Personnel, with the support of the school administrators and the Board of Trustees.
