The South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) secured 2nd Place in the Philippine Startup Challenge X Region XII South Cotabato Pitching Competition held at Habi Hotel, Koronadal City.

Team AOA, composed of Frank Leimbergh D. Armodia, Liezl Jane G. Arreglado, and Kathleen Nicole Oliva, successfully pitched SIBLO—an AI-powered, RPG-based system for academic performance and career analytics. The team was mentored by Kenmark T. Celisas, with Reginald S. Prudente, MIT, as the Dean of CICT.

Our team prepared for the competition by mastering the ideas behind our project, understanding our individual roles, incorporating the panel’s suggestions from the provincial pitching, and focusing on teamwork to achieve our goal for this competition,” said Celis.

SIBLO is a platform that transforms classrooms into adventure worlds where students train, evolve, and collect creatures called siblons by earning quiz points. By integrating academic progression with gameplay, SIBLO promotes learning through growth, teamwork, and discovery.

This remarkable achievement underscores SEAIT’s commitment to providing high-quality education through innovation and technology-driven learning.
